LOWER BODY BALLISTIC PROTECTION SYSTEM (MODEL 208)

Lyra has developed this system which in conjunction with conventional bulletproof / fragmentation vest provides full body protection with complete freedom of movement. The protection level can be offered from NIJ Level I to Level IIIA depending on customer’s requirement. Potential end use of this system is in environments which are mine-infested or where counter insurgency operations are being conducted. The system is already in use on the field.

Distinctive Feature:

This system allows mobility and flexibility which the conventional EOD suit does not provide.

The suit is donned in the following sequence:

Ballistic Trouser
Ballistic Sleeves
Ballistic Shoes (shoes are meant to be worn if the user is driving a point-vehicle)
Ballistic Jacket
Gloves
